Job description: PeaceHealth is looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner.  This is not your traditional outpatient care clinic as you'll need to be comfortable working in an ER or Urgent Care like setting.  Because if Prince of Wales' unique rural environment we are seeking someone comfortable treating patients across the age spectrum- from prenatal care to adults.  The ideal candidate will have skills including but not limited to: well women exams, pelvic exams, IUD insertions, basic procedures (skin excisions, lumps and bumps, drainages, etc.), critical care, urgent care, or emergency room experience.  Being on an island with no interconnected road system and no nearby hospital, you'll practice rural medicine like you never had before.
