Based in Vancouver, WA, PeaceHealth is recruiting for a Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO). As the healthcare industry continues to experience radical changes, PeaceHealth is responding through system-wide transformation – with IT as its catalyst. Having heavily invested in top EHR technology, we have laid the ground work to successfully step into this exciting future. The CMIO will lead a team of clinical informaticists responsible for understanding and standardizing core clinical processes. With a permanent location at our Shared Services Center in Vancouver, WA, this impactful leader will travel throughout the system ensuring solutions work effectively for our patients and caregivers in the communities we serve.

 

The Chief Medical Information Officer must have the following qualifications…

 

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited US program
  • Ten years’ experience of related leadership required
  • Five years’ post-training clinical practice experience and clinical informatics experience required
  • Current or prior board certification in a recognized clinical specialty
  • Certification or eligibility for board certification in Clinical Informatics preferred
