Director, Advancement Services

PeaceHealth is seeking a Director, Advancement Services for a 1.0 full time equivalent Exempt position. This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of 8 Hours.

Serves in a senior fundraising and administrative role for all system fundraising programs conducted by PeaceHealth.  Responsible for strategic business planning, grants fundraising program, corporate giving, annual giving program, and planned giving. 



  1. Develops annual plans and budgets for system level fundraising programs.
  2. Ensures organizational planning and alignment across teams.
  3. Creates and executes fund raising strategies and plans that utilize best practices to meet fundraising goals.
  4. Monitors progress toward annual established fundraising goals for system level fundraising; disseminates routine and ad hoc reports to philanthropy leadership.
  5. Oversees the management of the staff for a comprehensive grant program that will include Federal, State, local, corporate, and private grant funding.
  6. Oversees the management of the staff for a comprehensive corporate giving program, annual giving program, and planning giving program.
  7. Develops departmental business and financial plans and makes recommendations on strategic resource allocations
  8. Works with local foundation leaders to assess fund raising needs, current, local and national issues and comparative data factors related to activities for key success.
  9. Staffs committees as assigned.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.





  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, fundraising or related field required.
  • MBA preferred
  • Certified as a Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred


  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, ideally in a mission driven healthcare environment
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
  • A proven track record of fundraising success
