Senior Vice-President (VP) of Financial Operations Opportunity in Portland Metro Area!

 

PeaceHealth is looking for a talented Senior VP of Financial Operations to oversee and direct system-wide revenue cycle operations, patient financial services, health information management and finance leadership. In this position, you will be responsible for the centralization, standardization, and implementation of organization-wide finance policies, processes and services.

The ideal candidate will be a personable leader who can support business development, forecast critical milestones, evaluate risks and benefits, provide financial guidance, and implement growth opportunities.  As an organization executive, the Senior VP of Financial Operations will use their extensive finance experience to enhance PeaceHealth's financial performance while fostering a business and mission-driven culture. This position is key to PeaceHealth’s future, and the incumbent must be an effective communicator and innovative problem solver.

 

Qualifications for the Senior VP of Financial Operations include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, and/or accounting
  • Master’s degree in business administration, hospital administration, or related field
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in finance, revenue cycle, or other relevant experience
  • Minimum of ten years’ management experience
  • Proven experience with third party reimbursement mechanisms and federal guidelines
  • Proficient with managed care, Medicaid/Medicare, and commercial payers
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting, not-for-profit compliance and financial reporting, and faith-based healthcare systems
  • Strong ability to:
    • initiate, lead and implement change
    • deliver financial results
    • work effectively in stressful situations
