Supply Chain Systems Analyst Lead

PeaceHealth is seeking a Supply Chain Systems Analyst Lead for a 1.0 full time equivalent Exempt position. This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of 8 Hours.

Coordinates the day-to-day functions for assigned area.  Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines met and service excellence provided in all aspects of work. Subject matter expert. Works on increasingly complex projects and business challenges with higher levels of impact and/or visibility. Leads the daily and project work assignments of a team of supply chain systems.



  1. Leads the daily and project work of the supply chain systems analyst team in partnership with supply chain manager.  Prioritizes work, ensures appropriate resources (internal and external to Supply Chain) are engaged, ensures that projects meet process improvement, automation, efficiency or other Supply Chain initiatives, keeps project initiatives on schedule, assists in removing impediments to progress, ensures best practices are employed, and serves as a primary team contact for leadership.
  2. Assigns work; plans and leads priorities, provides technical assistance, leads staff schedules, monitors quality of work, monitors team projects, mentors staff, provides constructive feedback, leads staff training, ensures quality improvement, provides leadership feedback on staff performance, and assists with goal setting for the team.
  3. Works with IST to ensure all Supply Chain systems are operational, up-to-date and accessible for transactional processing and reporting; develops and implements new software, Infor/Lawson customizations, process flows, smart notifications, and custom reports.
  4. Performs troubleshooting and resolves system related issues of a higher complexity which may involve coordination with IST and/or software vendors. Identifies, escalates and/or implements corrective and preventive actions.  
  5. Leads and coordinates testing of software related to upgrades, patches, process flows, system modifications, custom reports, to include writing and executing test plans and analysis of impacts.  Proactively identifies, researches, and recommends, tests, documents and implements system related process improvement initiatives of moderate complexity and larger impact to support Supply Chain strategies.
  6. Acts as subject matter expert by providing consultative and functional assistance to end users for ongoing administration of SCMS modules. 
  7. Develops complex analytic reports, metrics and data extracts.  May collaborate with Supply Chain leadership and other departments.  Requires proficiency with SQL, Crystal Reports, Access, Infor/Lawson Add-ins, Tableau and Excel. Familiarity with RDBMS preferred.
  8. Assist with the coordination of physical inventory process.
  9. Maintains the Item Master, Vendor Master, Vendor Price Agreements and other data within the Supply Chain ERP.  Data management includes ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting period review and data cleanup activities.
  10. Assists in the development, implementation, reporting and management of product and service contracts.  Researches new product categories, renewals, updates, bid analysis, price comparisons, problem resolutions and contract compliance.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent knowledge obtained through a combination of education, training and experience.



  • Four years of experience in Supply Chain Information Systems (report creation, data extraction and IS) in Healthcare is required.
  • Experience in report creation and data extraction of a complex nature is required.  Business Objects, Tableau, SQL or Crystal Reports is preferred.
  • EDI experience is required.
  • Infor/Lawson ERP experience is preferred.



  • Demonstrated ability to lead successful teams.
  • Exceptional technical, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional report writing skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, with demonstrated advanced skills in Excel and data management tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, working independently and leading teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.



  • Work requires fairly light physical exertion from up to 65% of the time.    
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.          
  • Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.
  • Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (up to 65% of work time).
